Dr. Karen Hand (PhD) is a leading researcher in the field of applied biostatistics. Her focus in recent years has been the statistical analysis of animal management data for the Canadian Dairy Industry in partnership with CanWest DHI and the University of Guelph. This is enhanced by her role as a graduate student advisor in the Department of Population Medicine at the University of Guelph, allowing graduate students to focus on real-world research with both academic and industry value.
